Kingman Chapel

The Kingman Chapel, located at the southern end of the CUCC campus, was dedicated to the Glory of God and to the memory of Henry Kingman, 1863-1921. Kingman was the minister of the Claremont Church from 1900-1917 and an author and spiritual leader. Ever radiant with life and love and happiness, despite serious limitations of bodily weakness and pain, he fought the good fight with indomitable courage, giving his Church, Pomona College, and the Claremont community the shining witness of a disciplined and true Christian life, "honorable, unstained and victorious."

The Kingman Chapel was dedicated on September 29, 1963. The Kingman Chapel features a Glatter-Götz Rosales pipe organ that was installed in 2002.
