ABOUT THE GLATTER-GÖTZ/ROSALES ORGAN
The Glatter Götz/Rosales organ, an instrument known for its exceptional craftsmanship and rich tonal palette. This world-class organ, featuring 4,041 pipes, comprises a world-class design presenting many colorful sound possibilities that provide the perfect canvas for Latry's artistry. The organ resulted from the partnership of organ builder Caspar Glatter-Götz of Owingen, Germany, Los Angeles based Manuel Rosales, who took artistic responsibility for the organ’s tonal character, and Dr. Carey Robertson, who 25 years later continues as CUCC’s principal organist. The Glatter-Götz/Rosales team went on to design and build the famed Walt Disney Concert Hall Organ.
